An ultrasonic cleaner uses high-frequency vibrations of ultrasound waves in a liquid to clean objects. This technology is widely used in various industries, including aerospace. The following are the general steps for cleaning aircraft equipment using an ultrasonic cleaner:

1. Pretreatment: Before ultrasonic cleaning, aircraft equipment must be pretreated. This includes disassembling, dismantling, and decontaminating the equipment to ensure optimal cleaning of each component.

2. Cleaning Agent Selection: Select an appropriate cleaning agent based on the material and type of contamination on the aircraft equipment. The cleaning agent helps remove dirt and grease, enhancing cleaning effectiveness.

3. Preparing the Ultrasonic Cleaner: Pour the cleaning agent into the ultrasonic cleaner's cleaning tank and add sufficient water. Turn on the ultrasonic cleaner and allow it to heat and generate ultrasonic waves.

4. Place Equipment in the Cleaning Tank: Place the aircraft equipment components in the ultrasonic cleaner's cleaning tank, ensuring they are completely immersed in the cleaning agent.

5. Set the Cleaning Time: Set an appropriate cleaning time based on the size of the equipment and the degree of contamination. Generally, cleaning times range from several minutes to several dozen minutes.

6. Start the ultrasonic cleaner: Start the ultrasonic cleaner and allow it to generate ultrasonic waves. The high-frequency vibrations of ultrasonic waves cause the cleaning agent to produce large bubbles in the cleaning tank. These bubbles continuously impact the surface of the aircraft equipment, removing dirt and grease.

7. Post-cleaning treatment: After cleaning, remove all aircraft equipment components from the cleaning tank and rinse them with clean water to ensure that no residual cleaning agent or dirt remains. Then, dry them with a clean towel or in an air dryer.

8. Check the cleaning results: Inspect the cleaned aircraft equipment to ensure that all components are clean and free of residue or marks. If any residue or marks remain, reclean or take other measures.

It is important to note that when using an ultrasonic cleaner to clean aircraft equipment, the appropriate cleaning agent and parameter settings should be selected based on the specific equipment and the type of stain. Also, care should be taken to protect the surface and components of the equipment to avoid damage caused by over-cleaning.
